M.A.N – originally was Mambo And NewyorkOn2. The name indicates two types of latin dance (Mambo & Salsa On2 style) that dance on the same music genre – Salsa. Its root is from Cuba in which some believe it evolved from Son music – another Cuban religious music genre.
At the beginning, M.A.N was founded as not only a dance studio that provides classes. But also be a practice/training place and a home for us – latin dance lovers. Our vision was not not just teaching Salsa, Bachata but also to introduce, to inspire and to create a playground for all the latin music lovers to gather, dance and enjoy happiness of bonding through social dance.
For the past 4 years, M.A.N Dance Studio has been making its name specialized with Salsa On 2 style (or New York style Salsa) which popularized by the Mambo King – Eddie Torres. With a force of experienced and skillful dancers/instructors, we’ve been trainining some of the best dancers in town. We have also been teaching, training and performing at various International Latin Festivals, both locally and internationally. After that, we pass down all the knowledge and skill that we’ve trained, learnt and acquired to all of our students.
